Wings of Durasteel - April 2007
[Subjugator - single-player flying]
Start date: April, 1st, 2007
End date: April, 30th, 2007
This single-player competition will give all Wing XIX pilots the chance to fly a number of nice battles. Participants can fly in up to 3 platforms.
The battles to fly are:
TIE-FCHG #2 - Shadow of Time
XvT-TC #70 - Cyclone Squadron operations (Battle of Hoth)
XWA-TC #23 - The Unknown Regions - Thrawn's Fist
The pilot with the highest score on a platform will get an IS-SW and an IS-BW will go to the runner-up. The competition will run for monthly from now on. Submit pilot files normally to your direct superior. Remember that the files must be fresh.

Wing XIX Squadrons

Wing XIX consists of the following active squadrons:
Fury Squadron - Led by MAJ Bobxavi, Fury Squadron flies the agile and deadly Tie Advanced. Serving XIX as fighter suppression in every battle they lead. A Squadron of tradition.
Flayer Squadron - Commanded by CM Wondra, this Squadron flies Missile Boats and Tie Defenders to carry out Interdiction Missions against heavy armed cruisers.
Slayer Squadron - This squadron, headed by MAJ Quincy Nelson, with two Flights of Tie Phantom and one of Tie Defender. The eyes of XIX for Reconnaissance and Spy Missions.
Krayt Squadron - Commanded by CPT Ric Gravin, Krayt Squadron flies Heavy Assault for Wing XIX, taking out capital ships and other large vessels. These experienced pilots masterfully use their Missile Boats, Assault Gunboats and TIE Defenders to lay waste to enemy fleets.
Viper Squadron - CM Marenac, a blood-thirsty young pilot, commands Viper, leading the Squadron for Strike missions due to the heavy fighter power that provides their two Flights of Tie Advanced and one Flight with Tie Defenders.

These starfighter assignments are solely for roleplay matters. Pilots are free to fly any craft they like in custommissions, multiplayer melees and competitions.

Battle Submissions

Layman's Guide to Battle Submissions
1.) Download and install the Emperor's Hammer Battle Launcher(EHBL). How To.
2.) Download and install the EH Ship Patch for the gaming platform you will be using.
3.) Download a mission or battle for your platform from the EH Mission Compendium.

4.) Install the Battle/Mission. This is done by simply double clicking the file. EHBL should
automatically lauch.
5.) Select the button for the platform you will be using. *
(* Important see HERE for details if running X-Wing Alliance (XWA).)
6.)Create a new pilot for each Battle/Mission.
It is recommended that you use the battle name as your pilot name. For example, TIE
Corps #1 is flown under the pilot TC1
7.)Complete battle or mission.
8a.) After completing the battle, find the battle in the game's main folder.
(Default: Program Files\LucasArts\XvT\)
8b.)Copy and paste the battle you wish to submit to my documents or a folder in My Document
(This step is no required, but I do recommend it.)
9.) Rename the file in the following format:
PIN#-Rank-Game-Mission Type and Number
The mission type and number can be seen on the file you downloaded.
Example: If MAJ Czulvang Lah flew the XvT Battle TIE Corps #25, the file would be named:
12154-MAJ-XvT-TC25
10.) Attach the pilolt file in an e-mail to your Squadron Commander (CMDR), being sure to
include your ID Line the message body.
The CMDR can then submit the file via the TC Database for offical battle credit.
Emperor's Hammer Battle Launcher
1.) Proceed to TIE Corps Administration.
2.) Scroll down to the bottom of the Administration Menu until you reach the section headed, EH Battle Launcher.
3.) Choose your OS of choice (Windors of MSDOS) from the list and download.
4.) Unzip the downloaded file.
5.) Install the EHBL being sure to follow any instructions.
New Pilots
It is important to note that while TIE Fighter (TIE)and X-Wing vs TIE Fighter (XvT) have you create a new pilot in game. X-Wing Alliance (XWA) does not! If you are flying an X-Wing Alliance Battle/Mission, follow these instructions for steps #5 and #6:
Creating an X-Wing Alliance Pilot
(This assumes you have completed steps 1-4, above, and have EHBL running.)
1.) Select the following Menus from EHBL: Game -> XWA Options -> Pilot Options
2.) Create a new pilot, being sure to check the Prepare for EH Battle box. (I recommend using the Battle name i.e. TC9)
3.) Highlight the new pilot and click OK
4.) Launch the Battle from EHBL in the usual way.
